At Project Lilac, our vision is to ensure that every woman is able to care for her own personal hygiene needs without shame. We want every woman to be able to care for her needs so she can remain strong and dignified in all aspects of life.
To be a Lilac woman, is to be both powerful and strong.
What is Project Lilac?
Project Lilac is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization devoted to helping
Women-In-Crisis situations meet their personal hygiene needs. Project Lilac was founded in 2015 by Taffy Reid, when she noticed that personal hygiene products such as sanitary pads and tampons are often not available at food pantries and are often not covered by food stamps. She wanted to find a way to make these products available to women in need.
Who are Women-In-Crisis?
Women-In-Crisis are women from low-income families, single moms, or women who have fallen upon hard times and are unable to afford personal hygiene products such as: tampons, sanitary pads and other personal items.
How and What do We Provide?
We provide discreetly packaged bags filled with personal products
(pictured on left) such as sanitary pads and tampons. We then deliver them to organizations that support Women-In-Crisis around the United States.
A single bag will provide a woman with enough personal hygiene products for one month.
Where Can I Find Project Lilac Bags?

How can I Help Support Project Lilac?
As of right now, you can make a one time donation of any dollar amount through our donation page. A $5 donation will ensure a woman receives an entire month's supply of hygiene products. A $60 donation will provide a year's supply.
